Passeport Citoyennete et Sante
Woodhill Primary School - French/ Anglo/ Scottish Project
Passeport Citoyenneté et Santé (Passport to Citizenship and Health)
This is a joint Project as a result of an Anglo-Franco-Scottish Co-operation Agreement. It aims to develop young people's language learning in French and English by communicating with native French speakers. It is in the form of a School Blog and incorporates the use of Podcasting. It is centred around Good Health and Citizenship.
A group of 8 Primary children were working on this initially and will link with Partner Schools in Coventry and Nancy. This session it is proposed that we will be able to expand this from the initial Group of 8 children to the rest of the pupils in P.7 and P.6 (given the restrictions with regard to Parental Permission & the use of ICT). It is also proposed to follow this up at Secondary level in the new session using the P.7 children who are currently involved in this.
This Project is proving to be most popular with pupils, staff and parents alike.
